Our staff has considerable experience in working with youth. They relate well to them, plan fun activities, and manage The Escape so that it is a safe and enjoyable place.
Our staff offer teachable and memorable moments and serve as excellent Christian role models. Their dedication and love for the youth make The Escape a sweet place to hang out.

You need JavaScript enabled to view it , Executive DirectorSy graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran College ('04) in Milwaukee, with a degree in Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Sy entered the world of the Escape on November 2007 as the Executive Director. Previously, he was a staff at Camp Phillip for 4 years, and is presently glad to be using his experiences and education to serve the teens and community. After almost 3 years here, Sy has already seen such wonderful growth among the teens, programs, the Escape staff and board, and the growing support from members of the community, and local and private foundations. Aaron Schultz, Interim Program DirectorI’m Aaron and it is great to meet your families and community! I eagerly anticipate talking with you in person and getting to know your teens and your names. I already met several Escape teens Wednesday night and played some pool, ping pong, Apples to Apples, basketball, and Madden Football. The Escape will be my new home until August, when I will continue my education in the Milwaukee area. I desire to give my best to the teens and to the program while I’m here. I’m a recent college graduate from Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN and I have been married for almost a year to my best friend, Alissa. Most likely, you’ll see her around soon. I spent the last nine months working in a sandwich deli in Eau Claire, WI while my wife finished her studies in Special Education. Previously, I have worked with thousands of youth and teens over the past eight summers. I spent a lot of time mentoring two boys with autism while I was in college. My experience with youth and teens has created a sincere passion for working with this age group. I strive to make your teens aware of how special and talented they are while supporting them as they grow.
